Mr. S. Rajarethinam has Masters in Economics and Bachelor of Law. In a service span of about 40 years in the Indian Administration Service, he held many key positions including District Collector, Inspector General of Registration, Commissioner of Collegiate Education, Secretary to Government in Housing and Urban Development, Tourism, Environment and Forests and PWD and retired during 2007. On reemployment he served as Secretary to the Honorable Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu from 2007 to 2011.

He has received ‘TNF Service Excellence Award’ at the TNF USA 45th Convention held at Atlanta on 25th and 26th May 2019 for his Visionary Leadership to TNF TN Chapter and dedicated work to the people of Tamil Nadu.

TNF, Trustee from 2011 and currently the Chairman, Tamil Nadu Foundation from 2017.

Dr. K. Shanmugam is an Indian Administrative Service officer of 1985 batch of Tamil Nadu cadre and retired as Chief Secretary to Government, Government of Tamil Nadu. Served as Principle Secretary / Additional Chief Secretary Finance, Government of Tamil Nadu for a significantly long period of over 9 ½ years.

Among various other posts held, the most noteworthy are Commissioner of Rural Development, during which time computerization of project monitoring was done for real time monitoring of works, and Director of Sericulture involved in promoting in Silk production and Deputy Commissioner Commercial taxes (Enforcement) providing exposure on tax administration. Also served as Collector in Sivagangai and Pudukkotti Districts.

Presently engaged in the preparation of working/ research papers in Madras School of Economics and also advising HCL Foundation in formulating development projects under CSR Funding.

Appointed as trustee in TNF from September 2024.

Dr. C. Sylendra Babu is an Indian Police Service Officer of 1987 batch of Tamil Nadu cadre, who had retired as the Director General of Police/Head of Police Force, Tamil Nadu.

Served as Superintendent of Police, Deputy Inspector General of Police, Joint Commissioner of Police, Commissioner of Police, Inspector General of Police and as Additional Director General of Police (Law & Order).

Maintained absolute integrity in 36 years of service, and raised up to the highest rank of Head of Police Force, Tamil Nadu. He has obtained the President´s color to Tamil Nadu Police, which is the highest honour to any Police force of the country. A mentor for civil services aspirants, a motivational trainer and an endurance sportsman.

In post retirement, supports college education of students from Government Schools. Also conducts free training program for competitive exams in native town of Kuzhithurai, Kanyakumari District. Converted 100 years old ancestral house into a public library to cultivate reading habit among the youth in native town.

Mr. Varadharaju I.P.S., (Retd) Joined police service in the year 1991 and held various post in the span of 29 year . Handled law and order, intelligence and special investigation – paid attention to the protection of women and children and downtrodden in the social system. In DIG tenure , Devised a lasting solution to the people of coastal villages of Thirunelveli and Kanyakumari by developing comprehensive CSR which aimed at improving their economy, health and Education. In intelligence wing, shared sensitive inputs to higher formations which helped in maintaining law and order and maintaining peace in Chennai City.
Appointed as trustee in TNF from September 2024.

Mr. V. Nagappan has an MBA, and is a Gold Medalist. He is the Board of Director in Tamilnadu Newsprint Ltd., and Tamilnadu Power Finance & Infrastructure Development Corporation Ltd. He serves several other roles including member of the Board of Studies of Madras University and Chairman of the Expert Committee on Economic Affairs, Hindustan Chamber of Commerce. He is a writer and columnist in financial dailies and business magazines.

Functioning as trustee TNF from 2013.

CA Suresh Krishnamurthy is President and CEO at India Cements Capital Ltd and Director at India Cements Investment Services Ltd. Further, he is the Associate member of Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, Associate member of Institute of Company Secretaries of India, and a fellow member of Insurance of India. More than 35 years of experience in Finance, Securities Market, Accounts, Internal Audit and Marketing. Mostly served in the financial services sector and for a short period served in the media sector.
Appointed as trustee in TNF from September 2024.

Er. S. Karunakaran  is a graduate in B.E Civil Engineering. He has worked in différent capacités in Public Works Department (Buildings) and retired as Chief Engineer (Buildings) from Tamil Nadu Government. He was serving as, Technical Advisor, in Tamil Nadu  Foundation and  Advisor for Civil works for Loyal Textiles Pvt Ltd.

Joined as Trustee TNF in 2017.      

Ms. Kavitha holds a M.Phil in Commerce, and has done a course on Entrepreneurship Development Programme from ISB, Hyderabad, and Financial Management from Loyola Institute of Business Administration, Chennai. She is the Director of GKAR Radiance Pvt Ltd., an infrastructure provider for telecom.

She has been involved in TNF since 2005 and also acting as Treasurer from 2012 and appointed as Trustee in 2014.
